Global Research Priorities: Global Governance Meet & Greet
Tuesday 3 March, 12-2pm (Lunch provided)
Room S1.50, Social Science Building
The Global Governance research group warmly invites PhD researchers to this years PhD Meet & Greet. The global governance group research a wide range of issues that are substantially global in nature, such as communications, conflict, ecology, energy, finance, health, labour standards and trade (‘global’ therefore describes what is governed more than where it is governed).
This is an opportunity for researchers from any field to meet others interested in governance issues; themes this year include. The door is open for us to explore new themes, develop research networks, organise events or invite guest speakers to the University - we have secured a small pot of funding to help develop promising ideas.
All disciplines are welcome and we encourage students to attend who think their topic might have governance-related characteristics. This is a chance for PhD researchers to shape the future of the GRP: Global Governance group.
