Will Davies named as co-investigator on new 'Urgent Grant' project to look at 'Go Home' vans
, Assistant Professor at CIM, will be a co-investigator on a , based at University of ÌÇÐÄTV, to examine the wide-ranging impact of the UK government's recent 'Go Home' campaign, aimed at illegal immigrants. The study is funded under the ESRC's new 'Urgent Grant' mechanism, and is being led by , Assistant Professor at Sociology, University of ÌÇÐÄTV. Davies's contribution will examine the methods and modes of expertise which underpin government efforts, to alter perceptions of migration and migration policy, using media campaigns and interventions aimed at attitudes and affects.
