Students who actively prepare outside of the classroom before coming to class are generally more motivated, better informed, and more confident in engaging in the classroom activities.
This workshop will provide an opportunity to consider strategies for approaching effective guidance in stimulating students beyond the classroom including;
- assessing relevant reading materials
- realistic workloads
- student motivational issues
- tasks to generate interest and enthusiasm outside the classroom
- discerning other useful tips to help students improve their abilities and to promote further successful course engagement
