On 6th July at Scarman, IGSD researchers and colleagues from School for Cross Faculty Studies had the opportunity to discuss the impact of the exciting research with the expert advice and facilitation from colleagues in Research and Impact Services at University of ÌÇÐÄTV. New publication from the FIDELIO project on the relationship between social impacts and public support in the Eifel National Park, Germany
The FIDELIO team in IGSD have published a new journal article on the relationship between nature conservation in the Eifel National Park, Germany and the social impacts of, social equity in, and public support for the park as a biodiversity conservation policy. The findings are based on hundreds of responses from local residents living in and around the national park to an online public survey as part of the wider FIDELIO project. Visit to Uzbekistan 7-11 July 2023
On 7-11 July Professor Elena Korosteleva was invited to Uzbekistan in the capacity of electoral observer. She observed elections in Samarkand, on Sunday 9 July, having visited 5 polling stations, engaged in conversations with citizens, political parties’ observers, and members of the electoral commission. She further spoke to the Chairman of the Electoral Commission in Samarkand, passing her feedback and observations.
