Biography
I am a PhD candidate in Global Sustainable Development, funded by the Chancellor's International Scholarship. My research project is on female temporary workers in the public sector of China. Before my PhD, I was a Chevening Scholar at the Centre for Women's Studies, University of York, where I developed my research interest in gender and employment. Before that, I had worked in the public education sector in China for 6 years. Besides my professional and educational background, my research is also driven and supported by my long-term engagement with feminist communities.
