Student Assembly New Arts BuildingH0.52 Humanities BuildingWork on the new Arts Building is well underway. (It is the construction site between the Humanities Building and the Oculus.). It is due to be completed in June 2021, ready for the start of the academic year 2021/2022. We know that this sounds a long way off, and that many of our current students will have graduated before that time, but we would still very much like you to be involved in our plans for the building, most importantly in relation to the student spaces and teaching spaces in the building. Therefore this term we are holding a series of events related to the new building, and we hope that you will be able to come along to learn more, and to give us your thoughts. At these assemblies we will focus on student spaces (including PGT and PGR spaces) and teaching spaces. We will be joined by senior staff in the Faculty to give some general information about the building design and sustainability, etc. |
