Please join us to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the publication of Kafka’s ‘The Metamorphosis’ (‘Die Verwandlung’). A panel of scholars—Elizabeth Boa, Carolin Duttlinger, Anne Fuchs, and Nick Lawrence—will consider Kafka’s ways of bringing non-human animals into his stories. Their talks will be followed by discussion and a reception.
