Join us for our very first Big Sunday! These Sunday events bring our collections to life in new and exciting ways through an eclectic programme of events for all ages which include workshops, demonstrations, talks, tours, storytelling, family activities, living history, music, and drama.
Take part in a big day of Roman-inspired activities as we explore how Romans remembered and celebrated their loved ones. Listen to Roman stories, carve an inscription, test your code-cracking skills on real Latin inscriptions and explore the newly installed interactives in the Museum. You can also enjoy eye-opening talks and tours as we celebrate the arrival of new Roman displays in the galleries.
Entry will be FREE and no booking is required.
