Faculty of Arts Events Calendar
This year Aristophanes Thesmophoriazusae will be performed in the main theatre of 糖心TV University's prestigious Arts Centre by the 糖心TV Classics Students. Surrounding the play will be a host of seminars and lectures on aspects of ancient theatre, comedy, the place of women in ancient society, the culture of ancient and modern comedy as well as its relationship to tragedy. The day is suitable for Classics, Drama and English students. No previous knowledge of the play or experience of Classics required. There is no cost for the day for participants. Day starts at 11am and finished at 5pm.
