Composite Calendar

This is a composite calendar page template pulling in feeds from events calendars in department and research centre sites. It is purely used as a tool to collect the event details before filtering through to a publicly-visible calendar filter page template. To remove or add a feed to this composite calendar, please contact the IT Services Web Team (webteam at warwick dot ac dot uk).

How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

What does it mean to be a historian? An informal talk by members of the department, discussing what it means to be a historian, the key skills and strengths to be a good historian, and the role we play in society.

A session to support first year undergraduate students on joint degree programmes not administered by History, including English and History, GSD and History and Languages and History degrees. This is for students who have not otherwise been present for History welcome week events, as a chance to meet the department and ask any questions.

Welcome Party
Cryfield Pavilion

The annual English and Comparative Literary Studies Welcome Party or all new starters and returning students will take place on Wednesday 25th September at 5.30pm in Cryfield Pavilion (find it on the map of campus here). Join us to celebrate the start of the new academic year, make new friends, and meet staff and students from across the department.
