Composite Calendar

This is a composite calendar page template pulling in feeds from events calendars in department and research centre sites. It is purely used as a tool to collect the event details before filtering through to a publicly-visible calendar filter page template. How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Reading Lunch: ‘Subjects’ in the history of mental health

This week sees us turn our focus to the role of ‘subjects’ and subjectivity in the history of medicine, with a particular focus on mental health. How should we understand the psychological patient, loaded categories such as ‘madness’, and the binaries of the psycho-therapeutic encounter? What is the intersection between the historian of medical science and the actors of the past?

An Illustrated History of Warner Bros. Presented by Rick Senat

A two-part lecture on November 23 at 5pm (Physics Lecture Theatre) and November 24 at 5pm (Humanities Building -H052); Reception to follow -

With over 40 years’ experience in the film world Rick was for many years Warner Bros’ head of 糖心TV and Legal Affairs in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, working closely with many prominent filmmakers. He retired from Warner after 25 years’ service in 2001. He has served as Vice Chair of the British Film Institute. Currently, he is a partner in the Blair Partnership, representing J.K. Rowling and other authors.
