Stephen Aryan is the award-winning fantasy author of The Age of Darkness trilogy (Battlemage, Bloodmage, Chaosmage) from Orbit books, published worldwide in English. His books have also been translated into French and German. His fourth novel Mageborn, published in October 2017, begins a new fantasy trilogy, the Age of Dread. He lives in the West Midlands with his partner and two cats and describes himself as an ageing podcaster, lapsed gamer and wannabe forest ranger.
