Professor Cynthia Lucia, Rider University - Natalie Wood: Hollywoods Final ChildIAS Seminar Room, Millburn HouseCynthia Lucia is Professor of English and director of the Film and Media Studies Program at Rider. In addition to teaching in that program, she is also a member of the American Studies, Gender and Sexuality Studies, and Law and Justice faculties. She is author of Framing Female Lawyers: Women on Trial in Film (University of Texas, 2005) and co-editor of The Wiley-Blackwell History of American Film (Wiley-Blackwell, 2012). She writes frequently for the film journal Cineaste, where she has served on the editorial board for more than two decades, and has written for other publications including Film Journal International and The Guardian. She is currently completing a book on Hollywood actress Natalie Wood. |
