Composite Calendar

This is a composite calendar page template pulling in feeds from events calendars in department and research centre sites. It is purely used as a tool to collect the event details before filtering through to a publicly-visible calendar filter page template. To remove or add a feed to this composite calendar, please contact the IT Services Web Team (webteam at warwick dot ac dot uk).

How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

SSARN Lunchtime Seminar - Dr David Murphy on Francophone African Cinema and Prof Abdul Paliwala on the recent Boston conference "Africa 2060"

A buffet lunch will be available from 12 noon with a time for networking, before the seminar begins at 12.30pm.  For catering purposes, RSVP Ros Lucas on Rosalind.Lucas@warwick.ac.uk  by Friday 30 April. This seminar is open to anyone - all are welcome.

There will be two talks:

1. Professor Abdul Paliwala (Law) will be speaking about the April conference which he attended at Boston University entitled "" 

2. (Professor of French and Postcolonial Studies, University of Stirling) will be speaking on
'Creating a New Greece: Antiquity and Postcolonial Modernity in the 1966 Festival des arts négro-africains de Dakar?'

Connected to this event, at 2pm there will be a screening of La Noire de... (1966) by the Senegalese film director (and novelist) Ousmane Sembene in room A028 in the Film and TV department, Millburn House. This screening is also open to anyone but please let Ros know if you intend to attend.
