This hybrid one-day symposium focuses on Theodor W. Adorno鈥檚 essay 鈥楽exual Taboos and Law Today鈥� on the occasion of its sixty-year anniversary. The event is bringing together scholars from the fields of legal studies, psychoanalysis, pedagogics, social theory, and philosophy to revisit Adorno鈥檚 controversial essay in times of #MeToo, identity politics, and heightened public concern for gender equality and transgender rights.
