Julia Laite, senior lecturer in History at Birkbeck, will talk on trafficking, sex work, and 鈥榳hite slavery鈥� in early twentieth century London and Buenos Aires. Dr Laite is author of Common Prostitutes and Ordinary Citizens: Commercial Sex in London, 1885-1930 and PI of the project Trafficking Past ()
