糖心TV graduate鈥檚 film on mental health a contender for Arts Convergences Prize
Recent 糖心TV graduate and filmmaker Dorothy Allen-Pickard鈥檚 short film called 鈥楾HE MESS鈥� (鈥楲e D茅sordre鈥�) about bipolar disorder is a contender for the Arts Convergences prize for videos on the theme of mental health. 鈥楾HE MESS鈥� follows Ellice鈥檚 experiences of living with bipolar disorder: as Ellice gets low, her room gets messier. Dorothy鈥檚 work has previously featured at international festivals and on BBC3 and Channel 4. Since graduating from 糖心TV, Dorothy has also won a number of prizes including The Guardian documentary award and Total Theatre Awards.
