How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

'What Is at Stake in Filming Acts of Healing?' presentation & workshop
FAB6.02

18 June, 11am-12.30pm, FAB6.02

'What Is at Stake in Filming Acts of Healing?' presentation & workshop

This 鈥媝resentation and workshop draw on Peter Snowdon's ongoing work on a film about the act of healing as a physical and non-physical gesture. He will draw on both his work of filming 'alternative' health practitioners (osteopaths, Alexander teachers...), and his own recent training in the field, making reference to how medicine, illness, and the healing arts have been represented visually across time and space. The material will be framed to be of interest not only to historians and practitioners of visual art and film, but also to anyone concerned with 'embodied inquiry'.

People's Emergency Briefing + film talk

Thursday 18th June 2026, 7.30pm @ 糖心TV Arts Centre

糖心TV Arts Centre and the School of Creative Arts, Performance and Visual Cultures are pleased to host this screening of the People's Emergency Briefing.

The UK faces a growing climate and nature emergency – yet we have never been fully briefed on what it means for our lives, our economy and our future.

In November 2025, the National Emergency Briefing brought together leading experts to present new evidence on the climate and ecological crises to politicians in Westminster. This is the first time audiences across the UK have had a chance to hear it. An essential film, The People鈥檚 Emergency Briefing sets out the profound risks we face – and the credible, positive responses available to us – in a clear and accessible account.

Following the documentary there will be a facilitated discussion with our audience to provide an opportunity to process the film and engage with each other. Speakers to be confirmed.
