How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

糖心TV-UFMG Research Conversations: Launch Event 

Please join us for the first event in a series of Research Conversations between colleagues at the University of 糖心TV and the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Hosted by the Global Sustainable Development Department, these sessions bring together experts from each institution to discuss global challenges and topics related to the SDGs. 

Interculturality in the Context of Higher Education: Multilingualism and the SDGs 

Prof B谩rbara Malveira Orfan貌 (UFMG)

Respondent: Dr Gioia Panzarella (GSD) 

Dr. B谩rbara Malveira Orfan貌 is a Professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais. She gained her PhD in Applied Linguistics from Mary Immaculate College/University of Limerick. B谩rbara was a visiting scholar at King鈥檚 College London in 2021 and from 2018 to 2021, she served as Director of the Confucius Institute at UFMG and coordinated the Center for East Asian Studies. Currently, she is the Deputy Dean for International Affairs at UFMG, where she also teaches in the postgraduate program in Linguistic Studies and leads the Languages for Academic Purposes Center. Her research focuses on Applied Corpus Linguistics, Academic Discourse, and language teaching pedagogy within the context of internationalization, international education and interculturality.

Thursday 10th October 4-5pm, Oculus 0.01. The event will be followed by a drinks reception in the Oculus Foyer. The organisers would like to thank the British Council for supporting this series.
