Location: University of Venice Ca’ Foscari

This is an international and multidisciplinary event that gathers together Nietzsche scholars and students from different countries and universities across world (Germany, Australia, Brazil, Italy, France, Portugal and the UK) on the theme of Nietzsche’s psychology of decadence and the crisis of Western values. The choice of the city is particularly relevant. In fact, Nietzsche, in his writings, often associates Venice to Wagner and to the phenomenon of »å鳦²¹»å±ð²Ô³¦±ð. This theme fosters a space of rich and multidisciplinary discussion that covers different areas of philosophy as well as other disciplines such as art, music, literary studies, history, cultural studies and critical theory.
