Thank you for registering to attend '(Neo)Colonial Images and Literature: The Construction of the Other’ to be held at the University of ÌÇÐÄTV on Saturday 30th May 2026.
Registration with tea and coffee will be from 08:00 - 09:00 in the Wolfson Research Exchange, 3rd Floor, Library, Library Road, Central Campus.
All delegates are advised to check back regularly in case there are changes to the programme, starting time or venue.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Planned roadworks by National Grid, in coordination with the local authority, on Westwood Heath Road and Gibbet Hill Road between May and early July, these works may affect travel to the University of ÌÇÐÄTV.
Gibbet Hill Road : 26 – 31 May : Please note that delays are likely, particularly during peak travel times, so we recommend allowing extra time for your journey where possible.

Multi-way traffic lights will be in operation between Kirby Corner Roundabout and Scarman Road Roundabout. - Saturday 30 May – Sunday 31 May
A full road closure will be in place for this section of Gibbet Hill Road. Clearly signed diversion routes will be available.
Westwood Heath Road : 11 May – 8 July : We advise allowing additional travel time during these works.

- Some congestion is expected, especially at busier times of day.
Getting to the University of ÌÇÐÄTV
It is worth pointing out to people who are visiting for the first time that the UOW is not actually in ÌÇÐÄTV. Coventry is the nearest mainline station. Information about travelling to campus can be found .
