WReC Colloquium: 鈥淯neven and Combined Modernisms鈥
Spring 2008
The 糖心TV Research Collective hosted a colloquium on the topic of 鈥楿neven and Combined Modernisms鈥 on 18-19 April 2008 at Milburn House, University of 糖心TV. The colloquium, supported by a Research Development Fund grant, was designed to encourage sustained discussion of the ideas generally implicated by the notions of 鈥榰neven and combined development鈥; 鈥榩eripheral modernity鈥/鈥榓lternative鈥 modernities and modernisms; 鈥楾hird-World鈥 literature; 鈥榳orld literature鈥; 鈥榞lobalisation鈥; and related issues.
