Play Read ClubWriters' Room, Millburn HouseYour host: Tarell McCraney, RSC/糖心TV Playwright in Residence One night a week we'll get together to talk about a play we've read. But that would be just boring. After a while participants will be also asked to come in ready to read a scene, monologue from the play. Further endeavours, including bringing other works similar to the play -- films music, will add to the discussions. The club is to help generate an awareness of contemporary styles in play, promote dialogue about plays, and continue our understanding of plays in a three-dimensional way. Most of the work will be contemporary. |
