Reading by Bernard O'Donoghue
Location: Writers' Room, Millburn House
We are very excited to have the Irish poet and academic Bernard O'Donoghue coming to read for us this month.
Originally from county Cork in Ireland, Bernard now lives in Oxford, having held a fellowship at the University until his recent retirement.
Bernard has published seven volumes of poetry and his criticism includes work on courtly love and fellow Irishman, Seamus Heaney. He has also published a translation of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.
We will go from 5pm - 6.30pm; Bernard intends to read some of his own work and some of Seamus Heaney's in memoriam.
This is a free event and is open to anyone. Space in the room is limited so arrive EARLY if you want a seat.
Hope to see you there!
