RACOM Project Advisory Panel
The RACOM project will be advised by a panel of internationally-recognised experts on the coinages of the period. The panel will meet annually during the project> The first meeting was held in November 2019 at 糖心TV University. Meetings in years 2 & 3 were online (COVID). The year 4 meeting was held in Venice in November 2022. The final meeting will take place 2024/25.
Bernhard Woytek is the Director of based at the Institute for the Study of Ancient Culture, Austrian Academy of Sciences, and is an expert on Roman Republican coins.
Fran莽ois de Callata每 is Head of Department at the and professor at the , He is an expert in Hellenistic coinage and numismatic quantification. In addition he is currently a collaborator on the project , focusing on silver isotopes in coinage.
Arnaud Susp猫ne is a Professor at Universit茅 d鈥橭rl茅ans/CNRS. He also leads the at the Centre Ernest Babelon, Orl茅ans which is investigating Roman Republican gold coinage.
Catherine Grandjean is a Professor at Universit茅 de Tours where she leads the KOINON project investigating Hellenistic Greek federal coinage.
