Bologna - Student Experiences

Motunrayo Olaoshun about her experience at the University of Bologna - 2017

Studying in Bologna was probably the best decision I鈥檝e made in my time at university. It鈥檚 just a beautiful city, filled with students from all over Italy and the rest of the world (thanks to the fact it鈥檚 recognised all over Europe as the number one spot for Erasmus students). It鈥檚 an authentic experience involving daily interaction with Italian students and other local people I am extremely grateful to have had. I studied things I would have never even considered at 糖心TV and I have now based my dissertation on a course that I studied whilst out there. Bologna is really well connected so it is easy to get out and see other Italian cities, but there is always something to do and something to discover- such as Bologna鈥檚 7 Secrets which I won鈥檛 spoil for you here. It wasn鈥檛 always the easiest, and sometimes it felt like a simple task took five times the amount of time you would expect, but every challenge is an opportunity for growth and made me much more resilient as a person. The picture is of me in front of San Petronio, the iconic, unfinished church in Piazza Maggiore.
