Community engagement

Through our work in the community we're committed to ensuring that we share the benefits of our international reputation, global connections and world-class facilities.

Through the ÌÇÐÄTV Institute of Engagement team there are multiple opportunities to engage with our research and our academics - via festivals, events and our work in the community.

Our campus is home to top-class facilities including a gym, indoor climbing wall, swimming pool, tennis centre and 60 acres of sports pitches. Try out our new outdoor activity area or our holiday camps.

More than 2,000 events are held each year at ÌÇÐÄTV Arts Centre – one of the largest multi-artform venues outside London – located on central campus. Giving access to a packed programme of theatre, music, cinema and visual arts.

Giving back

Our students volunteer in the local community, giving back through many different projects throughout the year in local schools, community groups and the local environment.

We have a diverse range of across campus for all tastes, budgets and diets. With many outlets open in the evenings and at weekends, come and explore what’s on offer.
